Programme Manager with excellent project management and leadership skills is required to lead the organisations GDPR project based in Reading, Berkshire. SALARY: £25,400 - £33,500 pro rata. We have a fantastic 6 months fixed-term contract job opportunity for a Programme Manager with excellent project management and leadership skills. Working as the Programme Manager for the organisation’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Programme, you will work closely with our GDPR Data Manager, other Subject Matter Experts and the Head of PMO to ensure good programme management methodology and practice is adopted by the team, and organisation meets the needs of the new regulations ahead of May 2018. Your duties and responsibilities as the Programme Manager:. • Lead, define and manage the GDPR programme and provide regular updates on programme/project performance covering the full breadth of portfolio, programme and project dimensions. • Support and deputise for the Head of PMO with maintaining the portfolio. • Provide People Management and Leadership to teams. • Project manage some strands of programmes as required. IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS. • Ability to advise, influence and negotiate at the highest level including Executive Board. • Senior Management and Matrix Management experience in a large organisation. • Experience of managing large programmes and projects. • Expert knowledge of Programme Management methodologies. • Prince2 Practitioner and MSP Practitioner. • Eligibility to work in the UK.
