We are now seeking a customer focused and analytically minded Online Merchandiser to join our Ecommerce team. Drawing upon your keen eye for detail and genuine interest in selling products digitally, you will work on our Ecommerce website to maximise digital sales and trading operations by supporting a clear digital merchandising strategy, driven by customer insights and digital trading analytics. Using your proven analytical ability, you will regularly review our digital proposition and proactively provide customer experience and navigation suggestions based on competitor analysis, customer journey analysis and data analysis. You might already be in a similar role, or perhaps you're ready for the step up but either way you will be passionate about online selling, numerate and analytical. - Responsible for uploading products on to the website and writing SEO keyword optimised product descriptions. - Taking responsibility for the overall accuracy of the product information including images, descriptions, prices etc. - Maximising product conversion rate through the collection and upload of additional product information. - Regularly updating product information and stock levels. - Working with the customer service team to resolving any product queries or errors. - Managing product categories and ensuring products are in the correct areas. - Creating new product listings based upon the marketing plan. - Using GoogleAnalytics to sort the product order within a listing. - Optimising content on the website with SEO keyword insertion and updating meta tags. - Using the content management system to create cross/up sell listings. - Responsible for liaising daily with suppliers to ensure stock levels are correct. - Responsible for collect product information from suppliers. - Responsible for creating and checking codes/redirects. - Responsible for updating marketing and product master sheets. Our ideal candidate will be a fast learner, proactive and passionate about Ecommerce and home interiors. - Strong communication skills. - Great attention to detail. - Maths and English to at least GCSE level. - Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and web apps. - PrestaShop experience desirable.
